As part of the World Health Organization’s Age-Friendly Cities project, the Checklist of Essential Features of Age-friendly Cities was developed to provide communities with a starting point to evaluate their own community and identify key areas of focus when developing an age-friendly place. 

The WHO’s “Age-Friendly World" is home to a vast amount of information for Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities and age-friendly activities around the globe.
